MHL 3 Wins “Best 2nd Screen Experience for TV on Mobile or Tablet”

SUNNYVALE, Calif., — Jan. 21, 2015 — MHL Consortium today announced its MHL® 3 specification has won “Best 2nd Screen Experience for TV on Mobile or Tablet” at the 7th Annual Mobile Excellence Awards, which took place on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015 at the YouTube Studios in Los Angeles. The MHL 3 specification delivers 4K (Ultra HD) resolution and enhanced audio from smartphones and tablets to TVs and monitors, while simultaneously charging the device.
